Windows 8 presents new forms of notifications for Metro-style applications and specific events in File Explorer.

Toast notifications: Alert the user to definite events, such as the insertion of removable media

Tile notifications: Display dynamic information on the Start screen, such as news updates and weather forecasts.

Badge notifications: display numeric counters with a value from 1-99 that indicate certain events, such as the number of available updates for a particular app or amount of unread e-mail messages. More information may also display by a badge notification, such as the status of an Xbox Music app.

4.Display screen

Windows 8 includes enhanced support for multi-monitor configurations; the taskbar can now elective show on multiple displays, and each display can also show its devoted taskbar. More options are accessible, which can prevent taskbar buttons from looking at specific monitors. Wallpapers can even cross across multiple displays, or every show can have its separate wallpaper.
